Privacy policy
Effective: October 5, 2026
Botter Hub ("we") handles the information of users of Botter Hub, an invite-only virtual space (the "Service"), as described below.
1. Information we collect
- Google account: the e-mail address, name, profile picture URL and account identifier of the Google account you sign in with.
- Membership: the display name you choose, your role, invitation records (who invited whom, invite codes and notes), when you joined and last signed in, and your language.
- GitHub (only if you link it): your GitHub user ID, username, name, avatar, profile URL, numbers of public repositories and followers, details of your public repositories (name, description, language, stars, forks, last update), and the repositories and strategy tags you choose to showcase. Linking only reads public information; we do not access anything private. The access token is stored encrypted.
- Trading data (only if you set up the EA): the account label, broker and server name, account currency, leverage, whether it is a demo account, deal history (ticket, time, symbol, type, volume, profit, commission, swap), balance and equity over time, the performance metrics calculated from them, and your visibility settings. For the account number we keep only a masked form and a one-way hash, never the number itself.
- Use of the space: in the virtual space your avatar, display name and position are processed in real time. Voice, video and screen sharing travel directly between users or through our relay servers and are never recorded.
- Safety records: reports (reporter, reported member, comment, location), suspension records and reasons, a log of administrative actions, and in-space notifications.
- Technical information: server logs with IP addresses, browser information and access times. Cookies keep you signed in (up to 14 days) and remember your language. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
2. How we use it
- To identify you, sign you in, and manage registration and invitations
- To provide the Service's features, such as profile cards, rankings and in-space notifications
- To deal with abuse, prevent misuse and keep the Service safe
- To fix problems, answer enquiries and improve the Service
3. What other members can see
Your display name, avatar, profile card (GitHub information, showcased repositories and trading performance) and rankings are visible only to members of the Service, never to the public. Trading performance is shown according to each account's visibility settings and the metrics you choose to hide. Balances are shown only if you choose to show them (hidden by default).
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties without your consent unless required by law. The Service relies on these providers:
- Google Cloud (servers and storage, Tokyo region)
- Google (sign-in)
- GitHub (public information, if you link your account)
Information received through Google sign-in is used only to identify you and show your membership details. Botter Hub's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored on servers in Japan (Google Cloud, Tokyo region). Connections are encrypted with HTTPS, access tokens are stored encrypted, and account numbers and EA tokens are stored as hashes. No system is perfectly secure, however.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your information while you are a member. You can delete trading accounts and unlink GitHub at any time from your page; the related data (deal history, balance history, repository details and so on) is deleted immediately. To leave and have all your data deleted, contact us at the address below. We may keep the minimum needed to prevent abuse (such as suspension records) or what the law requires us to keep.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to disclose, correct, stop using or delete your information by contacting us below. We will respond without delay once we have confirmed your identity.
8. Age
The Service is intended for people aged 18 and over.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with its date. Important changes will also be announced in the Service.
